It is known that in the 50-70s of the last century, small and medium-sized enterprises for the production of suzane and carpets existed in the form of artels, but later, due to the growing demand of the population for these products, production was mechanized and gradually manual carpet weaving disappeared. 4. In order to normalize the current situation, the state took measures to stimulate the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the light industry in all regions of the country. All this contributed to the development of entrepreneurship and made it possible to increase the volume of processing of local raw materials within the republic, especially animal skins and wool, and to increase the volume of semi-finished products and finished products. 5. In order to develop the industry, it was envisaged to reconstruct existing carpet weaving enterprises, create and place a number of small enterprises for the primary processing of animal wool and the production of hand-made carpets in the mountainous regions of the country with the availability of raw materials. 6. At present, the country's carpet industry is represented by Kolinkhoi Kairokkum OJSC, which has been operating since 1960 and produces woolen and semi-woolen yarn, technical fabrics and carpet products, as well as Kolinkhoi Somon LLC, which are private business entities. 7. In order to improve the quality of manufactured products, reduce costs and ensure the competitiveness of products in the market, in 2012 the enterprise imported and installed new carpet weaving equipment of the brand "ALFA - 360" made in Germany, finishing line of the brand "Anmak" made in Turkey and weaving equipment of the company " Van de Vil "(Belgium). 8.
